1 loaf French bread
8 to 12 oz. sliced Swiss cheese
1 1/2 sticks margarine, softened
2 Tbsp. minced onion (may add or delete to taste)
1 tsp. Beau Monde seasoning
1 tsp. yellow mustard (may add or delete to taste)
1 tsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. poppy seed (optional)
Preparation

Slice French bread about 3/4 way down every 1-inch, leaving loaf together at the bottom.
Place slices of cheese into slots.
