Fresh Apple Cake With Hard Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs, beaten slightly
1 c. cooking oil
1 c. nuts
3 c. shredded apples (yellow Delicious), grate

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together.
Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
Bake 1 hour at 325\u00b0.
Cool in brown paper bag (leave cake in pan).
