Lemon Extract Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 1/3 c. sugar
1/2 lb. candied cherries
6 eggs
1/2 lb. candied pineapple
5/8 oz. lemon extract
1/2 lb. white raisins
4 c. sifted flour
1 lb. pecans
Preparation

Cream the butter and sugar.
Add eggs and beat well.
Add the extract and blend.
Sift the dry ingredients together.
Add to the creamed mixture; add fruits and nuts.
Bake in loaf pans at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
