Chili And Meatballs(With Cornmeal Dumplings) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. lean ground beef
3/4 c. onions, finely chopped
1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
1 clove garlic, chopped fine
3 tsp. chili powder
5 tsp. beef flavor instant bouillon
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can kidney beans, undrained
3 Tbsp. flour
2 (14 1/4 oz.) can tomatoes
1/4 tsp. ground cumin
1 egg
Preparation

In a medium bowl, combine meat, 1/4 cup onions, bread crumbs, egg, 3 teaspoons bouillon and 1 teaspoon of chili powder.
Mix well.
Shape into meatballs (1 1/2-inch in size).
Roll in flour and brown in skillet.
Drain and set aside.
In slow cooker, combine remaining ingredients, except for beans and dumplings. Stir in meatballs.
Cover and cook on low setting in microwave or over stove burner.
Stir in beans.
Cook on high 15 minutes before adding dumplings.
