Alaskan Bakeless Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. fine vanilla wafer crumbs
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 small can crushed pineapple, drained
    1 c. heavy cream, whipped
Preparation
    Line bottom of buttered 9 x 9-inch pan with layer of crumbs, reserving 2 or 3 tablespoons crumbs to sprinkle on top.
    Cream butter and powdered sugar.
    Add beaten eggs and vanilla; beat until fluffy.
    Spoon on top of crumbs.
    Fold drained pineapple into whipped cream and spread over first mixture.
    Sprinkle with remaining crumbs.
