Asparagus Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. fresh asparagus
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    1/4 c. cracker crumbs
    4 hard-cooked eggs, sliced
Preparation
    Snap off tough ends of asparagus and cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces.
    Cook 6 to 8 minutes, drain and set aside.
    Melt 2 tablespoons butter in flour and cook 1 minute.
    Gradually add milk, cooking over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Add salt and pepper.
    Arrange half of asparagus in 8-inch square greased baking dish.
    Top with egg slices and half of white sauce. Repeat with rest of asparagus then white sauce. Combine cracker crumbs and 2 tablespoons butter and sprinkle over top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
