House Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 6 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    2 pkg. yeast
    1 c. margarine
    1 egg
Preparation
    Combine 2 1/2 cups flour, sugar, salt and yeast in large bowl. Add the margarine with mixer at low speed.
    Pour 2 cups hot water into this.
    Add egg; increase speed to medium.
    Beat 2 minutes. Beat in 3/4 cup flour; beat 2 minutes more.
    Spoon-stir in 2 1/2 to 3 cups flour to make soft dough.
    Knead 4 to 5 minutes.
    Let rise 1 1/2 hours.
    Punch down and let rest for 15 minutes, covered.
