Dog Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    6 Tbsp. margarine
    1 tsp. brown sugar
    1 c. pureed, cooked green vegetables or carrots
    1/2 c. dry powdered milk
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. ice water
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Combine flour, powdered milk, salt and sugar.
    Cut in margarine until mixture resembles cornmeal.
    Mix in egg and vegetables.
    Add enough water so that mixture forms a ball.
    Pat out dough 1/2 inch thick with your fingers on a lightly oiled cookie sheet.
    Cut with your favorite cookie cutter, such as a small, heart-shaped one, or use a doggie biscuit cutter.
    Pat out all scraps.
    Proceed as above.
    Bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Remove from oven and cool on cake rack.
