Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. cornmeal
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 c. vegetable oil or shortening
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
Preparation

Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
Grease a 9 x 1 1/2-inch round pan or 8 x 8 x 2-inch square pan.
Mix all ingredients in medium sized bowl. Beat vigorously for 30 seconds.
Pour into pan and bake 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve warm.
