Cookies For Diabetics - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. water
    1/3 c. butter or shortening
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    2 c. raisins
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 beaten eggs
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    artificial sweetener equal to 1 c. (Equal is not recommended for baking)
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Boil the first 6 ingredients together for 3 minutes; cool. Add the beaten eggs, soda, salt and artificial sweetener.
    Add the flour and baking powder.
    Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
    Bake for 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
