Amish Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. butter
    4 c. vegetable oil
    4 c. sugar
    4 c. powdered sugar
    8 eggs
    4 tsp. vanilla
    16 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    4 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Cream together butter, oil and sugars.
    Add eggs and vanilla. Sift flour and cream of tartar into a large bowl.
    Add creamed mixture to dry ingredients.
    Drop by tablespoon onto cookie sheet. Press down with fork or bottom of a glass.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 12 minutes or until nicely browned.
    (You may want to use only 1/4 the amount of ingredients.)
