Quick Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. water
    1/2 c. rice
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. golden raisins
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    In medium pan bring water, rice and salt to a boil.
    Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until rice is tender.
    Remove from heat and stir in milk, vanilla and raisins.
    Return to heat and quickly stir in eggs.
    Stir constantly over low heat until pudding coats metal spoon.
    Pour into serving dish and sprinkle with nutmeg. Serve warm or cold.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
