Holiday Dilly Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1 c. cottage cheese (small curd)
    1 tsp. instant onion
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 egg
    2 1/4 to 2 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. warm water
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. dill seed
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Soak yeast in lukewarm water.
    Heat cottage cheese to lukewarm.
    Add sugar, onion, butter, dill seed, salt, soda, egg and yeast mixture.
    Add flour to make a stiff dough, beating well after each addition.
    Knead, then cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 50 to 60 minutes.
    Stir down; turn into a well-greased 1 1/2-quart round 8-inch casserole dish and let rise in warm place about 30 minutes or slightly more.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes.
