Butternut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
2 sticks oleo
1/2 c. Crisco
1/4 tsp. salt
5 eggs
2/3 c. canned milk
1/3 c. water
2 Tbsp. butternut flavoring
3 1/4 c. sifted flour
Preparation

(Start in a cold oven.) Cream the sugar and shortening. Add eggs one at
a time.
Add dry ingredients alternately with milk, water and flavoring.
Bake in a greased and floured tube pan for 1 hour and 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
