Marinated Black-Eyed Pea Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
    2 cans black-eyed peas, rinsed
    4 green onions, sliced thinly with tops
    1 tomato, seeded and diced
    1 small green pepper, diced
    1 small bottle mushrooms, drained
    1 small bottle pimento strips
    cayenne pepper to taste
    salt to taste
    Italian dressing (to marinate)
    lettuce
Preparation
    Reserve bacon and lettuce.
    Marinate all other ingredients for 4 hours in refrigerator.
    Drain salad and line bowl with lettuce leaves; add salad and garnish with crumbled bacon.
    May be marinated overnight in refrigerator.
