Baked Stuffed Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. stale bread, cut in pieces
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. onion, chopped fine
    1/2 c. melted shortening
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. sage
    1 egg
Preparation
    Soak bread in cold water; add other ingredients, except chops. Put stuffing on chop.
    Cover with another chop.
    Repeat until all chops are used.
    Tie with string so the chops will stand as if in a roast.
    Roast at 350\u00b0 until chops are done, about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
    Yield:
    6 to 8 servings.
