Dump Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb.) can crushed pineapple with juice
    1 (1 lb.) can cherry pie filling
    1 pkg. white or yellow cake mix
    1 1/2 sticks margarine, cut into 3/8-inch squares
    1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
    Cool Whip (optional)
Preparation
    Grease a 9 x 3-inch pan.
    Dump layer of pineapple, pie filling and dry cake mix.
    Top with margarine and nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    When cool, Cool Whip can be top layer.
