Kraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can chopped kraut
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 small jar chopped pimento
    1 green pepper, chopped
Preparation
    Drain kraut and save juice.
    Add enough vinegar to make 1 cup. Put 1 1/4 cups sugar into vinegar-juice mixture. Bring to a boil. Pour hot juice over other ingredients.
    Mix well.
    Let the mixture stand in refrigerator at least overnight.
