Red Hot Jelly - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. apple juice
    4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. butter
    1/3 c. red hots
    1 pouch liquid pectin
Preparation
    In a large, heavy saucepan combine juice and sugar.
    Stir well.
    Add butter and red hots.
    Bring to rolling boil, stirring constantly.
    Stir in pectin.
    Return to rolling boil, stirring constantly for one minute.
    Remove from heat.
    Skim foam from top with metal spoon.
    Fill sterilized jars to 1/4-inch thick.
    Makes 4 1/2 pint jars.
