Tandoori Style Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. coriander
1 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. ground pepper
1 (8 oz.) container plain yogurt
3 tsp. fresh lemon juice
1 Tbsp. minced ginger (fresh)
1 tsp. minced garlic
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. red food coloring
1 (3 1/2 lb.) chicken, cut up

Preparation

Heat cumin, coriander, paprika and pepper in saucepan over medium-low heat, stirring until fragrant, 1 to 2 minutes (be careful not to burn).
Transfer to a large bowl and stir in yogurt, lemon juice, ginger, garlic, salt and food coloring. Remove skin from chicken, except wings and score flesh diagonally 1/2-inch deep.
Toss with yogurt mixture.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
