Italian Meat Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. onion
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 lb. ground beef
2 cloves garlic
2 (1 lb.) cans tomatoes
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 (3 oz.) can mushrooms
1/4 c. parsley
1 1/2 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. monosodium glutamate
1/4 tsp. thyme
1 bay leaf
1 c. water
cheese as needed
Preparation

In a large
skillet, cook onion in hot oil until almost tender.
Add
meat\tand
garlic; brown lightly.
Add remaining ingredients.
Simmer, uncovered,

to
2\t1/2 hours or until sauce is nice and thick.
Stir occasionally.
Remove bay leaf.
