Green Beans With Cheese - cooking recipe

2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen French-style green beans
2 tsp. minced onion
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. sour cream
6 thin slices Swiss cheese, cut in strips
1/2 c. corn flake crumbs

Preparation

Cook beans according to package directions; drain. Cook onion in butter for 3 minutes. Add flour, sugar, salt and pepper. Stir in sour cream and heat thoroughly, but do not boil.
Pour over beans, arranged in a buttered 11 x 7-inch flat baking dish. Arrange cheese strips on top. Top with corn flake crumbs. Sprinkle generously with paprika. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
