Apricot Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. dry apricots, cut into small pieces
    2 c. boiling water
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3 c. plain flour
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs beaten
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cut up apricots with shears.
    Pour boiling water over apricots and add butter and sugar.
    Let cool.
    Beat in eggs and dry ingredients which have been mixed.
    Bake 1 hour at 350. Makes 2 big loaves.
