Enchilada Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    6 buttons garlic
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. chili powder
    3 qt. water
    6 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. sugar
    1 small tsp. vinegar
    1 small shake cinnamon
Preparation
    Melt shortening; brown garlic.
    Add flour and chili powder. Cook for a few minutes, then add tomato juice and 2 quarts water. Add seasoning.
    Bring to slow boil.
    Add other quart of water to desired thickness.
    It is better if cooked slowly.
    Freezes well!
