Linda Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. lime jello
    16 large marshmallows
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 can crushed pineapple, drained
    1/2 c. pecans, chopped
    1/2 c. maraschino cherries, chopped
    1/2 pt. whipping cream, whipped
Preparation
    Dissolve lime jello in 2 cups of hot water.
    Add the large marshmallows and cream cheese (softened is easier).
    Stir until melted (over low heat, if necessary), then place in refrigerator until it begins to gel.
    Add pineapple (drained).
    Add chopped pecans and maraschino cherries.
    Fold in whipped whipping cream. Return to refrigerator until congealed.
