Microwave Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. uncooked corn
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 stick butter
    1/4 c. light corn syrup
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Pop corn in a brown paper bag.
    Cook sugar, butter, syrup and salt in a deep dish 5 minutes in microwave oven, making sure brown sugar is dissolved.
    Pour syrup over popped corn in a paper bag; roll top of bag shut.
    Place in microwave oven 1 1/2 minutes. Remove and shake.
    Return to oven for 1 minute.
    Remove and shake. Return to oven for another 1/2 minute.
    Pour onto a cookie sheet to cool.
