Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 squash
    1/2 stick butter
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 chopped bell pepper
    1/2 c. water chestnuts
    1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Saute butter, onion, bell pepper and water chestnuts.
    Fold in Cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, sugar and egg.
    Add salt and pepper. Grease a casserole dish.
    Pour ingredients into casserole dish. Sprinkle bread crumbs on top and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
