Mexican Casserole (2) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef or ground pork
    1 med. onion, chopped
    salt & pepper
    chili powder
    1 small can green chopped chilies
    1 can mushroom soup
    12 tortillas (or more)
    grated cheese
Preparation
    Brown meat and onions.
    Drain grease.
    Season with salt, pepper, chili powder, and green chilies.
    Add mushroom soup heat thoroughly.
    Line casserole dish with broken tortillas.
    Put half meat mixture over tortillas.
    Sprinkle some grated cheese over meat.
    Put another layer of tortillas and rest of meat and cheese. Bake at 350\u00b0F for 30 min.
    Serve with hot sauce, lettuce salad, and a vegetable.
