Tex-Mex Lasagna - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1 c. tomato paste
1 c. picante sauce (mild or medium)
1 tsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. dried basil
1 c. Ricotta or cottage cheese
3/4 c. plus 1 1/2 c. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/2 lb. lasagna noodles, uncooked
Preparation

In a large skillet, over medium-high heat, brown beef with the onion and drain the liquid.
Add the tomato paste, picante sauce, water, oregano and basil.
Mix well and set aside.
Combine Ricotta or cottage cheese and 3/4 cup Mozzarella cheese in a large bowl; set aside.
Spray an 8 x 11-inch baking pan with nonstick vegetable spray.
