Christmas Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. cranberries, ground
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. crushed pineapple, drained
    1 1/2 c. finely cut celery
    1 c. walnuts diced (optional)
    2 pkg. (3 oz.) strawberry jello
Preparation
    Stir sugar into the cranberries and set aside.
    Prepare strawberry jello according to directions, when it begins to thicken, add fruit, nuts and celery.
    Pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
