Ingredients

3 c. brown sugar, packed
3 c. oleo
6 c. rolled oats
1 Tbsp. baking soda
3 c. flour
Preparation

Put all ingredients in large bowl.
With hands mash, knead and squeeze to well mixed firm dough.
Form into small balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets.
Dip bottom of greased small water glass in granulated sugar and flatten each ball.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes 15 dozen cookies.
