Cherry Pudding Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    2 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 (1 lb. 5 oz.) can cherry pie filling
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Cream margarine and sugar.
    Stir in milk, flour and baking powder; mix well.
    Spread batter in 6 1/2 x 10 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Cover with pie filling.
    Combine lemon juice with boiling water and carefully pour over top.
    Bake in moderate (350\u00b0) oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until crusty top or toothpick comes out clean.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
