1 whole clove or 2 Tbsp. ground cloves
water
Preparation

Place a whole clove or ground cloves in a small saucepan; add half full with water.
Bring cloves and water to a rapid boil and let permeate the air.
Replenish water frequently while chittlins are cooking.
Also, spray the air with your choice of air fresheners.
The house smells of spices instead of the pungent odor of chittlins.
