Surprise Pudding Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 c. powdered sugar
    1 (9 oz.) carton Cool Whip
    1 large pkg. instant vanilla pudding
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    In an 8 x 11-inch cake pan, melt the margarine.
    Stir in the flour and the nuts.
    Press mixture into a smooth layer, making sure it covers the bottom of the pan.
    Bake 15 minutes.
    Place in the refrigerator until cool.
