Lemon Orange Rainbow Cake - cooking recipe

1 pkg. lemon cake mix
1 (3 oz.) pkg. orange flavor Jell-O
1 c. boiling water
1/2 c. orange juice
8 to 12 oz. Cool Whip
Preparation

Prepare cake mix as directed on package.
Bake in greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
Cool cake in pan 15 minutes, then prick with fork at 1/2-inch intervals. Meanwhile, dissolve Jell-O in boiling water; add orange juice. Pour carefully over warm cake.
Chill at least 2 hours.
Frost with 8 to 12 ounces Cool Whip.
