Strawbananut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. oleo
1 c. sugar plus 1 Tbsp.
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. banana flavoring
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. sweetened strawberries plus 1 Tbsp.
1/2 c. mashed bananas plus 1 Tbsp.
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. chopped pecans
1 pkg. strawberry jello

Preparation

Cream sugar and oleo; add eggs and mix well.
Add milk, strawberries
and bananas.
Sift flour, soda and baking powder together; add to milk mixture, mix well; add flavoring and dry jello and nuts.
Mix well.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven.
Make as layers or in
a
tube pan.
To frost, use strawberry juice thickened with powdered sugar.
