Becky Scott'S Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9-inch pie shell
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    4 Tbsp. strawberry jello
    strawberries to taste
    cooled pie shell
Preparation
    Bake pie shell.
    Set aside to cool.
    Mix sugar and cornstarch. Add 1 cup hot water.
    Boil until thick and clear.
    Take off to cool.
    Add jello and boil a few minutes until completely dissolved.
    Line cooled pie shell with strawberries (whole).
    Pour syrup over strawberries.
    Chill one hour before serving.
    Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
