Coconut Toffee Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. butter, softened
1/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. all-purpose flour
almond coconut topping or coconut lemon topping
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cream butter, shortening and sugar.
Blend in flour, press evenly in bottom of ungreased baking pan.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Spread with topping.
Bake 25 minutes longer or until topping is golden brown.
Cool slightly, cut into bars.
Makes 32 cookies.
