Tomato And Basil Penne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. cooked penne pasta
    2 garlic cloves, chopped
    3 lb. tomatoes, diced
    1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
    1/4 c. chopped basil leaves
    1/2 c. heavy cream
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    splash of vodka (optional)
Preparation
    Saute garlic in olive oil for 2 to 3 minutes.
    Add tomatoes and simmer a few minutes.
    Add seasonings and cream and simmer a few minutes more.
    Stir in cooked pasta.
