Date Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 c. cut up dates
    1 c. hot water
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. flour
    2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Combine baking soda, cut up dates and hot water and let cool. Cream the sugar and butter.
    Add eggs, salt, flour and chopped nuts.
    Add to date mixture and bake at 350\u00b0 for about 1 1/2 hours. Makes 1 loaf.
