Copper Dollars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. carrots
    1 large onion
    1 large green pepper
    1 c. sugar
    1 can tomato soup
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. oil
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp. prepared mustard
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Slice carrots 1/4 inch thick.
    Slice onion and pepper.
    Layer carrots, onion and pepper.
    Heat sugar, tomato soup, vinegar, oil, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt and pepper.
    Pour over carrots, onion and pepper.
    Let stand overnight.
    Keeps 2 to 3 weeks refrigerated.
    Serves 16.
