Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter (2 sticks)
    1 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    2 c. white flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    4 medium McIntosh apples
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs one at a time.
    Add flour, baking powder and mix well.
    Spread 1/2 the batter in a greased 9 1/2-inch spring-form pan.
    Peel, core and cut apples into 1/8.
    Arrange apples over the batter in a neat circle.
    Pour rest of the batter over the apples.
    Spread evenly.
    Bake for 50 minutes.
    Let cool. Remove ring of pan.
    Enjoy.
