Ingredients

1 1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. melted fat
2 eggs
6 Tbsp. molasses
1 3/4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. mixed spices
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. oatmeal
1 c. raisins (seedless)
Preparation

Blend first 4 ingredients.
Mix together dry ingredients and add to liquid mixture.
Blend well.
Add oatmeal and raisins. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
Remove from baking sheets and cool on racks.
