Microwave Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 (16 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can kidney beans, undrained
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
2 to 3 tsp. chili powder
Preparation

Crumble ground beef in 2-quart glass casserole.
Stir in onion and green pepper.
Cover with glass lid.
Microwave about 5 to 6 minutes on High or until meat is browned.
Drain and stir in remaining ingredients; re-cover.
Microwave 14 to 18 minutes on Medium-high or until hot.
Let stand, covered, 5 minutes before serving.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
