Pecan Sandies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/3 c. sugar
    2 tsp. water
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sifted plain flour
    1 c. chopped pecans
    confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar. Add water and vanilla. Mix well. Blend in flour and nuts. Chill 4 hours. Shape into 1-inch balls. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325\u00b0 for about 20 minutes (will not brown). Remove from pan; cool slightly. Roll in confectioners sugar. Yield: 3 dozen cookies.
