Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 to 8 slices day old bread
1 lb. sausage
1 doz. eggs
1/4 lb. Velveeta cheese
6 slices bacon
1 stick butter, melted
salt and pepper
cinnamon
1/4 c. chopped onion (optional)
1/4 c. chopped bell pepper (optional)
Preparation

Beat eggs; salt and pepper to taste.
Brown sausage; cook and crumble bacon.
Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Spray casserole dish with vegetable spray.
Crumble bread in bottom of dish.
Sprinkle with cinnamon.
Pour melted butter over bread.
Layer sausage, onion and pepper.
Pour eggs over layers.
Spread cheese to cover, then top with crumbled bacon.
Bake slow for 1 hour or until cheese has slightly browned.
(Best when made the night before and refrigerated.)
