Red Velvet Cake 1(Aunt Brenda'S Favorite) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. oil
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vinegar
    1 oz. bottle red food coloring
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease and flour two 9-inch cake pans. Cream together oil and sugar; add eggs.
    Blend well.
    Add vanilla and buttermilk.
    In separate bowl, dissolve baking soda in vinegar; add to original batter.
    Mix in flour, small portions at a time. Add food coloring last.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until cake starts to brown.
    Frost with Cream Cheese Frosting.
