7 Layer Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1 c. whole kernel corn
    pinch of salt and pepper
    1 can tomato sauce
    1/2 can water
    1/2 c. chopped onion and green pepper
    3/4 to 1 lb. uncooked ground beef or turkey
    1 can of tomato sauce
    4 strips bacon
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Drain corn, wash and drain rice. Place ingredients in layers in a 2 quart baking dish.
    Pour over second can of tomato sauce and 1/4 can water, cover meat with bacon.
    Cover with tight fitting lid.
    Bake for 1 hour.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
