Onion Rings - cooking recipe

1/2 c. oil
1 c. sifted flour
dash of salt
1 1/2 c. milk
1 egg
Preparation

Blend oil and flour.
Add milk and egg.
Beat with beater until smooth.
Batter will be thin.
Dry food thoroughly, then coat with unseasoned flour.
Dip into batter, letting excess drop off.
Fry in oil 375\u00b0 until golden brown.
