Chocolate Pie-Company Size - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. sweet milk
    2 c. sugar
    6 eggs, separated
    1 c. sifted flour
    1/2 c. sifted cocoa
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix sugar,
    flour,
    salt
    and
    cocoa
    in a bowl and set aside. Put 5
    cups of milk to heat in a large saucepan.
    Beat egg yolks and
    add
    just
    a little milk to them and set aside. Pour the remaining
    milk into the flour mixture and mix well. When the milk
    is almost ready to boil, stir in the chocolate mixture, stirring
    constantly
    until it comes to a boil and is thick.
    Set off burner and stir in the egg yolks.
    Add vanilla.
    Pour into pie
    shells.
    This will fill 2 big and 1 small pie pans.
    Top with meringue or whipped cream.
